Chili di manzo

Beef chili

Rub - Second courses of meat

A spicy beef stew with chili, a very common dish in the United States and Mexico with meat and often tomatoes and beans.

Ingredients for 4/5 people:
1kg minced meat
2 red onions
1 red pepper
1 clove of garlic
1 400g can of pre-cooked beans
800g tomato puree
25g Rub Beef
1 sprig of chopped parsley

Method

Marinate the meat with some of the Beef rub, brown in a saucepan with some oil and once the meat is well browned, remove the meat from the pan and set it aside.
In the same pan, brown a chopped onion, the pepper cut into not too small cubes, the minced garlic and season with a pinch of rub.
Once the peppers, onion, and garlic are browned, add the meat, tomato puree, and a ladle of water or broth. Cook for about an hour, stirring frequently. Add water or broth if there isn't enough liquid. Taste the chili to check the flavor and add rub if necessary.
After an hour, add the beans with their liquid and cook for about 30 minutes. Turn off the heat when cooked and let rest.

Suggestions

Serve the chili with tortillas, chopped parsley, and a little raw chopped red onion.
