Gyros, the Greek kebab

Sauces - Tasty Treats

To prepare your gyros perfect at home, there is no need to have the vertical spit, typical of kebab cooking.

Ingredients:
pork loin
Extra virgin olive oil
Lettuce
White onion
black pepper
salt
to taste Caesar sauce

Method

-Slice the meat using a slicer, so as to prepare very thin slices, take the slices and cut them into smaller pieces using a knife.
-Take the shallow baking tray and cover it with baking paper, oil it and arrange the pieces of meat, sprinkling them with a little black pepper.
-Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for about half an hour.
-Finally check that the meat is crispy at the end of cooking.

Suggestions

For consume an excellent gyros, cut the buns in half of Pita and fill them as you like with meat, vegetables and sauce which you prefer. We recommend trying them with Sauce Caesar or with the Sauce Delicate with orange for a more summery taste. Enjoy your meal!
